Today (20th March 2010) is our first anniversary – we launched a year ago today, 20th March 2009. We’d like to thank everyone that has been involved in any way in CycleStreets, and we look forward to a real take-off of the project as it matures in coming months and years.
We’re pleased to announce that the CycleStreets Cycle Journey Planner today reached a milestone of 100,000 journeys planned. (Well, actually it was 99,999 – we added the next one to reserve the number!) How long till 1 million? … :)

We’ve added a new features page that describes most of the existing functionality of CycleStreets. Check it out! We’ll add new stuff to it as the system improves. We’ll probably also add a few tiles on the actual routing engine features – some new aspects of which are being worked on right now.
A WEBSITE based in Cambridge which plans cycle routes anywhere in the country has been shortlisted for a regional award.
